Keqiao Art Walk brings contemporary art into dialogue with the landscape and cultural traditions of Shaoxing. Initiated and jointly led by architect Liu Xiaodu and curator Cui Cancan as chief curators, the project explores a new relationship between art and travel, reconnecting a longstanding cultural tradition with contemporary experience.

In Chinese culture, travel has long encompassed more than movement from one place to another. Excursions through mountains and waterways, visits to friends, literary gatherings, study journeys, homecomings, and even imagined travels have offered ways to understand both the world and oneself. From Wang Xizhi’s gathering at the Orchid Pavilion to the landscape writings of Xie Lingyun, Li Bai, and Xu Xiake, journeys through nature have also served as paths of reflection and spiritual discovery.

Building on this tradition, Keqiao Art Walk invites audiences to encounter art through movement and place. Its main venue, Shili Hutang, brings works into settings that include waterways, lakeshores, villages, rice fields, former factories, and indoor exhibition spaces. Satellite venues at Jianhu Scenic Area and Jianhuli extend the project into the wider cultural and urban landscape of Jianhu.

柯桥艺术行旅

柯桥艺术行旅将当代艺术带入绍兴的山水与文化脉络。项目由建筑师刘晓都与策展人崔灿灿共同发起并担任总策展人，尝试建立艺术与行旅相结合的新方式，使悠久的文化传统与当代经验重新发生联系。

在中国文化中，行旅从来不只是从一处抵达另一处。游山、泛舟、访友、雅集、游学、归乡，乃至想象中的卧游，既是认识世界的方式，也是理解自身的路径。从王羲之的兰亭雅集，到谢灵运、李白与徐霞客笔下的山水，行旅始终承载着对自然的体察、对生活的思考与精神上的探寻。

柯桥艺术行旅由此展开，邀请观众在行走中感知艺术与地方。主展场十里湖塘围绕水上、湖岸、村落、稻田、旧厂房与室内展馆展开；分展场鉴湖景区、鉴湖里则将项目延伸至更广阔的鉴湖文化与城市空间。
